Listen to what the man said

Millions of men worldwide can now sleep a little more easily knowing that the divorce trial between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills has drawn to a close, and that poor, little Heather did NOT make out like a bandit. Although she got much more than she probably deserved, she initially requested $250 million as payment for providing only four years of her very valuable services. Apparently, she felt that not only did she singlehandedly revive his career, but also that she served as "...his full-time wife, mother, lover, confidante, business partner and psychologist." Uhhh. Hell-O! That’s what a wife is SUPPOSED to do. If that makes you a martyr who is entitled to millions, then I would be richer than Oprah. It doesn’t work that way, toots. This train-wreck of a woman couldn’t even keep it together long enough to behave appropriately in court, dumping an entire pitcher of water on the head of McCartney’s attorney after the ruling. This, after giving shoddy, inconsistent testimony and producing a case that proves that love is NOT, in fact, all you need.

Her requests for "reasonable needs" included $25 million to buy a home in London, $6 million for a home in New York, $1 million per year for vacations including private plane and helicopter rides, $250,000 for clothes, $85,000 for a driver and $80,000 for wine and $60,000 for "equestrian activities," even though she doesn’t drink and no longer rides horses. Thankfully, the judge was not impressed with Ms Mills, and in his ruling called her the British equivalent of a useless, lying gold-digger... or to use his exact words: "unreasonable," "volatile," "distasteful," "less than candid" and my personal favorite: "devoid of reality."

Sounds to me like she didn’t have a leg to stand on.
